The great-granddaughter of a jeweller, born in Paris, I have always been fascinated by the places where cultures meet. After ESSEC, I helped luxury houses such as Piaget, Longchamp, Delvaux and BonneGueule to grow, but I dreamed of creating a world of my own.

Everything changed when I met my husband. From a Rajasthani family that has traded precious stones for generations, he opened the door to a fascinating spiritual and mythological world. Discovering India through him, I found a world where stones carry stories, beliefs and symbolic powers. But beyond the stones, it was the Indian spiritual imagination that moved me most. I met adults who still believe in mythology, who tell stories of deities, sacred animals and magical stones. Behind these colourful tales lie universal ideas: love, inner strength, rebirth, transformation. I was deeply moved by this cultural and spiritual richness.

Mayuri was born from the union of these two heritages. Mayuri means peacock in Hindi: the royal animal of India, with its vibrant colours, reinterpreted with the pared-back elegance of Paris. I made it the embodiment of my creations, jewellery that carries this double soul within it.
